I love salami rolls! They are perfect for a snack, appetizer or for on the go. In the summertime I make Salami rolls to take to the pool to munch on for lunch.

Salami Rolls are the easiest appetizer and so delcicious!

They also make great road trip food 🙂 The picture above shows the salami rolls I made for Melissa and I when we went to Mixed Conference in December. They were perfect for us to pop into the cooler and enjoy while we were traveling.

If you use Hormel Natural Choice Salami when making these rolls it is gluten free.  You can use previously frozen creme cheese too! You can also use any brand you prefer but if you are making them as a gluten free snack you want to be sure to check your label. This is a delicious Keto Diet Snack too! Simply make a double batch if you are feeding a large crowd. Trust me they are easy to gobble up and you will wish you had more.

Did you know that you can freeze cream cheese?  It works great and saves money!  I like to purchase cream cheese in bulk on sale and stockpile it for recipes.  Check out this post Can You Freeze Cream Cheese to find out how!

When making these rolls how much salami or cream cheese you will need depends on how much you will be making. I normally double the batch when I am feeding a large crowd. They are great to take on the go with you and if you want you can switch i up a bit by using a flavored cream cheese. Regardless of which you choose they are so yummy and everyone always begs for me. The perfect party food or tailgating snack. They are packed full of protein and fat so great when you are eating a low carb, high fat diet like the Keto Diet.

For my appetizers, which are similar to these: I take dried beef slices & fill them with cream cheese with some
horseradish mixed in. They are so good!!! If you want you can rinse some of the salt off the beef slices, then dry off well, but I think they are good right out of the jar. Never tried it with salami...will have to give it a try.

I used to have these all the time growing up! I thought it was the Italian/Mexican upbringing, so I'm glad to see other people have this as a snack as well 🙂 Thanks for sharing- following you on twitter and google+!
