Sausage Balls are my family's favorite appetizer recipe. When it comes to game day or parties there must be a huge plate of sausage balls!

    Sausage Balls Recipe

There are only 3 ingredients in this sausage balls recipe. They are a little time consuming to make and table a little elbow grease but when they come out of the over everyone will be happy! I ALWAYS double or triple the recipe when I am expecting a big crowd (or my cousin Ted) because they go so fast. They are also great re-heated for breakfast!

    Sausage Balls

This recipe is great because it can easily be made gluten free using gluten free Bisquick, sausage and cheese.  If you make them gluten free my suggestion is to add a little milk to the recipe. It keeps them moist when you bake them. Also don't bake them to be overdone when making gluten free because they get too hard.

A tip on keeping them warm is to place them in a crockpot on low. Another tip is to wear a pair of rubber gloves and an apron when you are mixing them up as they will get messy! I hope your family enjoys these as much as we do!
