Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese Recipe is perfect for a holiday or family dinner. It feeds a large crowd and people love it!

This Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese is perfect to make for parties, holiday gatherings or for a family dinner. I love to make this during the holidays so I can free up my stove top for making other dishes. I can just put this on and worry about making all the other side dishes!  My family loves the flavor as it is always a requested family favorite side dish!

It is easy to prepare. Combine in slow cooker: evaporated milk, paprika, salt, egg, butter and cheese; stir.  Cook on high for 1 hour. Nearing the end of the hour bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.  Add macaroni and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the macaroni is al dente (pasta should not be done - it needs to be chewy) and drain. Stir cooked macaroni into cheese sauce, reduce temperature to low and cook for 2 to 4 hours or until ready to serve.

This Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese is perfect for freeing up your time when you are hosting a holiday gathering or party.  When you want to feed a large crowd, this recipe frees your time while you are busy with other recipes.  A tip is to make your pasta in advance and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.  Just rinse it under hot water and it is ready to add to the slow cooker.  Just be sure you don't overcook it it doesn't get mushy.

I hope you enjoy this time saving recipe for Macaroni and Cheese as much as we do.  It is perfect for busy days and when you are feeding a crowd.

You mention salt in the directions, but not in the ingredient list. How much salt?
