This delicious Slow Cooker Margarita Pork Recipe is a very tasteful pork roast! I serve it shredded or sliced with veggies, baked potato and rolls for my family. I use a large pork roast so I have leftovers and I freeze the shredded meat. Then I use the leftover pork to make some Pulled Pork sandwiches for another meal for my family. This is a great way for me to get two meals from one dish for my family.
I use a 3-5 lb boneless pork roast, 1 (10 oz) can of Budlight Straw-ber-rita or your favorite margarita mix and salt and pepper to season/taste. There is no need for concern by using alcohol because it will cook out during the cooking process however if you are concerned you can always use margarita mix (without alcohol). The flavor profile on this roast is really good and it is moist and tender.
To prepare simply place the roast in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper if desired. Next slowly pour in liquid over pork roast. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low 10 hours. Remove pork roast and shred. Serve right away, freeze any leftovers. This is a great recipe when you are gone all day long. Simply dump the ingredients into the crockpot and leave it for the day. That is it! You can let the slow cooker do the work while you are on the go.
Be sure to give Slow Cooker Margarita Pork Recipe a try, you will not be disappointed! It is one of my favorite recipes for Mexican night at my house. It is really delicious and soon to be a family favorite once you give it a try.
