This easy dinner idea for Sweet and Savory Roast Recipe is so good!  It will be added to my list of recipes to make again.  I had picked up a roast on manger's special at Kroger's and wanted to make it different.  Of course, I used my slow cooker and combined simple ingredients from my pantry.

Sweet and Savory Roast Recipe is perfect to make in your crockpot for a Sunday dinner!

I was using the same roast ingredients such as salt, pepper, garlic powder and minced onion, but then I decided to add some sweetness by adding brown sugar.  Boy, am I glad I did because it made the roast so yummy?  I also added some butter slices on top of the meat to make it tender and well I just think butter makes everything better.

Sweet and Savory Roast Recipe is perfect to make in your crockpot for a Sunday dinner!

I'll admit I just threw everything in the crockpot and added a ¼ cup of water.  Turned it on low and headed to the pool for the day with my kids.  When I got home, my house smelled heavenly to walk into.  The meat of the roast just fell apart and was so juicy and tender.  I love being able to just throw together a few ingredients and letting the slow cooker do all of the hard work for me while I am busy and on the go.

Be sure to try Sweet and Savory Roast Recipe, you will not be disappointed.  You could even prepare this as an Easy Freeze Slow Cooker Supper.  Just freeze the ingredients in a freezer bag minus the water. Thaw overnight in fridge before cooking. Add water in crockpot on day of cooking. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
