Tuna and Rice is a high protein meal idea when you are carb cycling. You can use white or brown rice.

Tuna and Rice Carb Cycling Lunch is my go to during the week when the kids are at school. I love tuna and my boys are not big fans of it but I sure am. I like making tuna salad or Tuna Sandwich also.

Tuna is something I always have on hand in my stockpile along with rice and that is all you need for this recipe! Just 2 ingredients needed so you can't beat that!

My husband thinks this is a strange lunch idea but it is really tasty. Tuna and Rice is a high protein meal idea when you are carb cycling. You can use white or brown rice. Give this lunch idea a try! Sometimes I drizzle a little lemon juice or olive oil on it if I have them on hand.

I used to make this when I was in culinary school all the time! It's cheap and easy. My husband, then boyfriend, hated it when I made it. Lol. I would throw the tuna in a pan and cook it a bit to get it kind of crispy! Yum!
