    Can you use essential oils to repel insects?

    Can you use essential oils to repel insects?  You can!  I made the switch last summer during the heart of Mosquito season and it worked really well for us all summer long.   There are a variety of oils to use based on which insect you want to repel.

    Can you use essential oils to repel insects?

    Ants:  Lemongrass, Peppermint, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Orange

    Aphids:  Peppermint

    Beetles:  Peppermint, Thyme

    Chiggers:   Lavender, Lemongrass, Thyme

    Cockroaches:  Cypress

    Cutworm:  Thyme

    Fleas:   Lavender, Lemongrass, Peppermint

    Gnats:   Clove, Eucalyptus, Basil, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Melaleuca, Peppermint, Orange

    Mosquitoes:   Clove, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemongrass, Basil, Geranium, Melaleuca, Peppermint, Thyme, Orange

    Moths:   Clove, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint

    Plant Lice:   Peppermint

    Spiders:   Peppermint

    Ticks:  Lavender, Lemongrass, Thyme

    Black Widow:  Oregano
