Crockpot Creamy Turkey & Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups cooked turkey diced
  • 2 celery stalks sliced
  • 2 medium size carrots sliced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water

Dumplings Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp canola oil
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to crockpot except for dumpling ingredients or biscuits.
  2. Stir together until mixed well.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. In the last 30 minutes add dumplings or biscuits that have been quartered and cook on high.
  5. For dumplings - In a mixing bowl combine the ingredients until a stiff dough forms.
  6. Drop by tablespoons into the slow cooker, cover with lid and cook on high for 30 minutes.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
