Homemade Brownie Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter melted then cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 container of chocolate frosting
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Sift together all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Melt butter and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat two eggs with the vanilla.
  4. Add in and gently stir dry ingredients.
  5. Pour the melted butter into brownie mixture and mix until just incorporated.
  6. Spread batter in a prepared greased 8-inch square pan and bake for 20-22 minutes at 350 degrees.
  7. Let cool for five minutes on baking rack, then flip over onto a platter.
  8. Let cool 20 minutes before frosting.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
