Oven Fried Fish Recipe

Oven Fried Fish Recipe that tastes just like you have gone to a fish fry!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk or water
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 lbs fresh or frozen thawed white fish fillets

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Coat 13 x 9-inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Combine eggs and milk in medium bowl.
  4. Next combine the corn meal, flour, paprika and garlic powder in a medium size bowl.
  5. Dip the fish fillets into egg mixture, coating both sides, then into the corn meal mixture.
  6. Place the fish skin-side down in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  8. Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
