Spinach Bars

  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 lb shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 - 10 Oz frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 tsp minced onion


  1. Use a 9x13 Pan
  2. Place butter in pan, melt in oven.
  3. Remove
  4. In LG bowl put eggs, beat.
  5. Mix in flour milk and baking powder.
  6. When well combine mix in cheese, spinach and onion.
  7. Spread mixture in buttered pan.
  8. Bake 35 min in a 350 degree oven. Let cool 45 min.

Recipe Notes

I always put my spinach in a pan and cook until thawed and always remember to squeeze all the water out of spinach before mixing it. Regardless whether you put it in a pot or not you have to squeeze the excess water out. I heat it up so I won't freeze my hands.
