Strawberry Spinach Smoothie

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 cup packed baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup almond or coconut milk


I have found for best mixing results to layer ingredients in the following order:

  1. 1/2 the banana, sliced

  2. spinach
  3. remaining banana, sliced
  4. frozen strawberries
  5. almond or coconut milk
  6. Blend until completely mixed and no large chunks are present.
  7. This may take up to 2 or 3 minutes if you are using a blender and less if you are using a Ninja or Vitamix. Serve and enjoy!!
