Fried Apples

There is nothing better than fried apples! This is a southern comfort food that can be served for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Ingredients

  • 5 medium green apples - peeled cored and sliced
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl combine apples, cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Toss to coat apples evenly.
  3. Heat skillet to med-high heat and melt butter.
  4. Add apples to skillet.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes stirring often.
  6. Once apples are soft they are ready.
  7. Place apples in bowl or on plate to cool before serving.
