Oriental Cole Slaw

This is one of our favorite recipes!  I serve it all of the time.  I find it best the 2nd day so I try to make it a day before I plan to serve it.  It is a great side when you grill, served with chicken or really anything!

Ingredients:
1 package broccoli slaw mix
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 bunch of broccoli, chopped
1 cup slivered almonds
2 packages beef ramen noodles, uncooked (crushed)
1 small green onion, chopped

Mix together in a bowl

Dressing:
1 cup oilive oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white vinegar
2 packages ramen noodle seasoning mix, dry

Directions:
Mix together and pour dressing mixture over salad.

Better served after marinated for at least 24 hours.

Oriental cole slaw, is the 2 packages ramen noodle seasoning mix, from the beef ramen? Thank you! t

  2. I love this recipe. I actually roast the noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds ( I use these instead of sunflower seeds, but will have to try it with those!) for about 10 minutes until they are just browned. Gives the coleslaw a really good flavor!

  3. I love this recipe. I’ll have to try it with beef ramen. I usually use chicken.
