Bacon Wrapped Dates - Paleo, Gluten Free, Low Carb Appetizer

If you are looking for a Paleo or Low Carb appetizer that tastes amazing then look no further! My friend Jacalyn brought these delicious Bacon Wrapped Dates over to our last Girls Night. When she told us what she brought I literally squealed with delight. I have been DYING to try these. I have seen them online but wasn’t really sure that a date wrapped in bacon would be tasty. Of course really anything with bacon wrapped around it likely to taste good but this is beyond good, it was DELICIOUS! In fact, I will be making this easy appetizer over and over again.

Not only was it easy to make, the taste was out of this world. You honestly would NEVER know it was a date inside the bacon. If I was guessing I would have almost thought it was meat of some sort. You can also add a little goat cheese inside with the date before you wrap it IF you are not eating Paleo. Not only is this a delicious Paleo recipe it is also Gluten Free (just be sure you choose a Gluten Free brand of bacon.  She used the Remke brand that is gluten free.

I hope you enjoy this easy appetizer as much as we all did! It is only menu plan for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for sure!  A tip she gave me was to soak the toothpicks in water before using them to keep them from burning.  You can also broil the entire time to cut your cooking time down.
