Broccoli Salad is one of my favorite summer foods! I recently went to a neighborhood cookout and this dish was there. I was so excited because it was also naturally gluten free!
It is easy to make and really tastes even better the “next day”. I am planning to add this recipe to my Thanksgiving dinner menu this year too! I love this tip of placing the bowl in larger bowl of ice to be sure to keep it refrigerated at cookouts!
Broccoli Salad is the perfect dish for a summer picnic or party!
- 2 heads broccoli
- 1 whole red onion chopped
- 1 cup of raisins
- 1 lb bacon crumbled
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 3 TBSP granulated sugar
- Rinse and drain broccoli
- Pat Dry
- Cut up broccoli head into bite sized pieces
- Mix together everything refrigerate into a bowl.
