Crockpot Beef Stroganoff is so easy to prepare and tastes amazing! Growing up my family use to have Beef Stroganoff all the time and it was a great comfort meal on a cold day. With the cooler weather of Fall coming I couldn’t help but prepare this dinner dish. When I started to look up recipes I was wondering if there was a way that I could make this in my slow cooker. I found a couple crockpot recipes but most of them used beef stew and I really wanted ground beef because that’s how my family made it. Best of all by using ground beef that is a great way to stretch your family budget.
So after a few adjustments I put together this incredibly tasty Crockpot Beef Stroganoff recipe. It was easy to prepare and then I served over pasta that I had in my stockpile. My boys and I loved it so much it’s on the menu again!
First of all start by cooking and draining your ground beef. Next in the crockpot combine the meat, soup, onion, sauce and water. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours. Stir in cream cheese 30 minutes before serving. Serve over pasta. It is that simple. This is a nice recipe when you have to serve a large crowd because it is inexpensive and tasty.
