    Crockpot Rump Roast with Onions

    Only 6 ingredients in this delicious and moist Crockpot Rump Roast with Onions recipe!

    Crockpot Rump Roast with Onions is the perfect meat to throw in the slow cooker if you are having company over. This recipe is full of flavor and tastes delicious. Everyone will be complimenting you after the meal.  It will be nice to hear them rave about your meal because they will think you have worked all day in the kitchen when in reality you didn't!  There are only 6 ingredients in this delicious and moist Crockpot Rump Roast with Onions recipe!

    To prepare simply place the rump roast in crockpot. Next spread onions on top of of the rump roast. In a small bowl mix together pepper, salt, garlic and beef broth. Slowly pour mixture over the top. Place  the lid on crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.  The longer the better.  It will become so juicy and tender that you can cut it with a fork! You can also prepare this as a freezer meal. Simply combine all the ingredients into a gallon size freezer bag and freeze.  When you are ready to prepare thaw in the refrigerator overnight.  Place into the slow cooker and cover.  Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

    I like to prepare this Crockpot Rump Roast with Onions when I find rump roast on sale on on managers special.  This is is a low carb recipe the entire family will love!  If you are following the Keto Diet this is a Keto Friendly Recipe the whole family can enjoy.  When I make this scrumptious meat I usually serve Honey Cinnamon Sugar Biscuits and Ranch Macaroni and Cheese.  If you are eating low carb you can enjoy it with Cauliflower Fried Rice. Trust me this is a recipe the entire family will love!

    Ingredients

    • 3 - 4 lb rump roast
    • 2 onions thinly sliced
    • 2 teaspoons black pepper
    • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
    • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
    • ½ cup beef broth

    Instructions

    • Place rump roast in crockpot.
    • Spread onions on top of rump roast.
    • In a small bowl mix together pepper, salt, garlic and beef broth.
    • Slowly pour mixture over the top.
    • Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

      Pro-tip: Season the beef with salt and pepper then sear it in a hot pan on each side till you get a crust on it. THEN put it in the bottom of the crock pot. It'll add a lot of flavor.
