Disney World Coral Reef Restaurant dining experience in Epcot!

Disney World Coral Reef Restaurant is a great dining experience at Epcot to try at least once!  If you love aquariums then this is a must do for your family.  The Coral Reef has 8 feet high windows which looks into a huge salt water aquarium filled with 85 different species of fish.  Plus do not worry about not getting a table right next to it, because the tables are banked so every one has a view!

Though the experience of being in the aquarium is neat, our family had mixed reviews of the food and service.  My husband liked his food and he even tried octopus.  But he felt that the food did not equal the price. I enjoyed my food but did not think it was priced right.  Dessert was delicious, but then again I have not come across a dessert I have not liked. My youngest loved his macaroni and cheese! He gave it two thumbs up.

Our service was definitely not Disney level by any means.  We got treated better at Quick Service locations.  Our waitress was not friendly and she never checked on us.  We often had to stop another waiter to get our needs met.  It took us almost over 2 hours from the time we sat down until we left.  We waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive to our table.  Because of this we then did not get to enjoy more of Epcot because dining took so long. So overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere but not the service.  We are glad we experienced it, but on future trips we will not return. Please note that this is just my family's opinion and we have had friends who have told us they love Coral Reef.
