DIY Clothespin Garden Markers - Perfect Herb Markers

These DIY Clothespin Garden Markers are so cute and frugal too! Labeling your garden plants is a great way to keep them organized and remember where you planted what! You can find garden markers at most retail and garden shops, but why not try making your own? Take a look below at these easy to craft clothespin garden markers, perfect for keeping your veggies, herbs, and flowers organized while looking cute at the same time.

    DIY Clothespin Garden Markers:

    Supplies needed:
Wooden clothespins (we found these for $1 per package at Dollar Tree)
Craft paint in choice of color
    Paint brush
    Black sharpie marker

    Directions:
    1. Begin by applying two coats of paint to your clothespins. Craft or spray paint works just fine and seems to wear well even outdoors.
    2. Once the paint is dry, use your Sharpie (or other permanent marker) to write the name of the plants directly onto the clothespin. Use a fun font like we did or just print the names on.

    3. To use your clothespin garden markers, simply clip them onto the stems of the plants you are labeling. For delicate plants, just press a stick or twig into the ground and then attach the clothespin to it.
