These DIY Flower Jars are a perfect idea for a bridal shower, baby shower or even a birthday party!

This easy idea for DIY Flower Jars is perfect for any party you may have coming up soon in your calendar!  I recently went to my cousin's bridal shower and her soon to be sister in law's had made these cute flower jars.  It was such a simple flower jar, but they made such a cute table decoration.  You can take this idea and make the colors match for a bridal shower, baby shower, brunch or even a birthday party. The possibilities are endless!

These DIY Flower Jars are a perfect idea for a bridal shower, baby shower or even a birthday party!

    DIY Flower Jars

To start you will need mason jars.  The size really depends on your choice. In the picture above smaller jars were used.

Next you will want to get some tie and cut a length to fit around the top of the jar you are using.  They just did a simple knot in the tie string, again this is your choice how you want to do it.

Next you will want to pick out flowers (real or artificial) and some baby breath (real or artificial).  If using real you want want to wait until the day of the event or maybe the day before to get.

Next you will want to fill the jars halfway with water. Now comes the fun part. Add in ⅓ cup milk and food coloring to make colored water to match your theme.

Place the flowers and baby breath in and you are done!

I hope you enjoy this idea for an inexpensive decoration for your next special event or gathering.
