This delicious recipe for Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken will become your go to chicken recipe in the summer! This recipe so easy and you only need 3 ingredients and spices. The best part is you can let the chicken slowly cook all day and it will be ready whenever you are ready to eat, making it perfect for a family cookout or party. You can also easily adapt this recipe to your liking, by using the spices your family loves. I love to use this recipe when I am feeding a large crowd because it is easy on my budget. By using shredded chicken I can stretch my budget.
Start by adding the chicken breasts (feel free to use dark meat too) to your crockpot. Add in the chicken broth and spices. Let it cook all day and right before serving shred the chicken right in the crcokpot, which will be easy and the chicken will just fall apart. Place chicken on a bun and cover with your favorite BBQ sauce. We love to use Country Bob’s and Sweet Baby Ray’s (which are both gluten free).
To prepare, place the chicken in the slow cooker. Add chicken broth and sprinkle seasoning on top. Place lid on the slow cooker and cook on low 8-10 hours. Take the lid off and shred chicken in crockpot and stir well. Take about 1/4 cup chicken and place on bun. Add sauce and enjoy!

Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp Tastefully Simple Garlic Pepper Seasoning
- 1 jar of your favorite BBQ sauce
- buns for serving
- Place chicken in slow cooker.
- Add chicken broth and sprinkle seasoning on top.
- Place lid on and cook on low 8-10 hours.
- Take lid off and shred chicken in crockpot, stir well.
- Take about 1/4 cup chicken and place on bun.
