If you are celebrating a graduation this year (or in the years to come) this is going to be something that you are going to want to pin!  This Graduation Party Owl Fruit Tray is so easy to assemble and everyone will enjoy it!  Made with a variety of fruits and veggies that you can pick up at your local grocery or farmers market.  I love having a themed fruit tray at parties and special occasions.  This is one that everyone will "hoot" about.

This Graduation Party Owl Fruit Tray is so easy to assemble and everyone will enjoy it!

I wish I could take credit but my sweet sister friend Teresa sent this to me!  She and her sister hosted a graduation party together for their sons this year when they graduated from high school.  Using a variety of fruit and tooth picks they assembled this cute and festive Graduation Party Owl Fruit Tray.

    Supplies Needed:

    • Cantaloupe
    • Pineapple
    • Strawberry
    • Cucumber
    • Radish
    • Carrot
    • Black Olive
    • Tooth Picks
    • Sharp Knife
    • Plastic Graduation Hat (pick up at local party supply store or online)

How to make a Graduation Party Owl Fruit Tray:

To create the body of the owl they used a fresh pineapple.  The arms were created using the "crown" of the pineapple.  They attached with tooth picks. The head of the owl was created using a cantaloupe.  They made the eye brows out of the cantaloupe where they created the eyes. Again using tooth picks to attach and assemble.  Finally they decorated their graduation owl with a strawberry at the neck and cucumber, radish and black olive for the eyes.  They added a baby carrot for the nose and it was complete.

Tips that they passed on were to be sure that you assemble on site and don't try to travel with your Graduation Party Owl Fruit Tray.  Also they added a variety of cut up watermelon, grapes and strawberries to the tray to enjoy.  You can use anything your family or guests would enjoy on the tray!  You can serve dip on the side if you desire.  What I love about offering a fruit tray is that it is healthy and naturally gluten free!
