If you are looking for a fun recipe for Cinco de Mayo check out this idea for Guacamole in a Glass! We came up with this idea because we wanted a way to showcase the beautiful colors of the guacamole for our guests and create a healthy side dish too!
It is so easy to make. First of all you want to start with an amazing homemade guacamole recipe or you can use a store bought version. Next you can use real glasses or plastic ones if you want to keep it disposable.
You can serve Guacamole in a Glass with Tortilla Chips and fresh veggies like carrots, celery, peppers and endive. This is also a delicious gluten free and Paleo recipe too!

Do you celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for “fifth of May” and is a Holiday that celebrates the Mexican arm’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. We do because my niece was born on Cinco de Mayo. It has always been our tradition to go to a Mexican restaurant that day!
