I am sharing my Kitchen Design - Dark Cherry Cabinets and Black Stainless-Steel Appliances. I am so in love with my kitchen design. It is a design dream come true for me. I have always wanted tall kitchen cabinets with slow close drawers and well, now I have them. They are to the ceiling cabinets that hold so much. I do not have them full and that is great because now that gives me room to continue collecting items.

Dark Cherry Cabinets and Black Stainless-Steel Appliances:

I love dark cherry cabinets. They have always been my favorite and I am so happy with my selection. In our kitchen we chose to go with an upgraded cabinet, and it came with slow close drawers. They are awesome. For our counter we went with a granite, and we love the look. It is durable and easy to clean so for us it is a win/win.

I chose a simple gray subway tile that is easy to clean and classic. I feel that it will never go out of style and is easy to maintain. I like the simplicity of it. As you can see, we don't have a huge kitchen but with the tall cabinets we are still able to store everything plus have the extra room to grow. We have a peninsula that is perfect.

We chose two school house pendants by Progress Lighting to hang over the peninsula.  It gives the perfect amount of lighting for food prep and homework.  The peninsula gives me tons of room to prep and this is where we eat breakfast in the mornings. Peyton also like to do his homework here. The kitchen is the heart of our home.

It is open to our breakfast nook, porch and great room. I like that it isn't open to our front door because it doesn't have to remain clean 24/7 and guests can't walk in and "see" the mess that might be around the corner.

So my favorite feature is the American Stand Kitchen Sink and Faucet. Let's just take a minute to talk about this duo.  I chose the Prevoir Stainless Steel Undermount 2-Bowl Kitchen Sink. It features a 35 Inch by 18 Inch combo undermount sink. It is HUGE.  I love the large/small bowl combo.

It holds so many dishes and is a high quality design. It is made from durable 18-gauge stainless steel, it's designed to accommodate the two bottom grid racks that are included.  It did require a larger base cabinet (39" cabinet required) to house this monster but it was so worth it! This sink is available in Brushed Satin.

Now for the faucet - it is the Beale Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Selectronic Hands-Free Technology.  Yes, it works without touching!!!  So when you have dirty hands or have been working with raw meat you no longer touch the faucet to use it.  I am seriously in love with this faucet.

It features a sleek, contemporary design.  With a simple wave of your hand turns the Beale™ faucet on and off, with a sliding sensor door to select manual mode, when needed. Once on, select from either of two task-driven spray patterns, with a convenient pause button to stop the flow temporarily.  I love that it features a pull down spray so that you can wash dishes and rinse the huge sink with ease.

Like MAGIC, it features a Selectronic hands-free sensor allows you to operate the faucet without touching, and easily changes to manual mode when desired with a sliding sensor door.  It has a Dock-Tite™ spray-head docking system uses magnetic technology to ensure spray head stays in place while not in use.

It features a Re-Trax® spray head retraction system ensures smooth pull-out, operation, and retraction of the spray head.  It has an integral check valves prevent back flow and cross flow.  A ceramic disc valve cartridges ensure a lifetime of drip-free performance. It is Lead Free and ADA Compliant.

And in my opinion the best for last - it features a Safety Shut-off.  Water automatically turns off after 5 minutes of continuous use.  So no concern of overflowing sinks!  This faucet is like a dream come true for us.  We are so in love with it.  It makes the taste of washing dishes something that we no longer dread doing.

So you can see why we are in love with our new kitchen.  Washing dishes is a breeze with our American Standard Sink and Faucet and the overall design is a dream come true for us.  If you are in the market for a new kitchen sink and faucet you should consider these.

I can't tell you how nice it is to have this touchless kitchen faucet at the wave of our hand.  We hope you enjoy the design of our new kitchen and gives you a little inspiration.

Disclosure:  American Standard provided our kitchen sink and faucet.  Progress Lighting provided our School House Pendant Lighting.  All opinions are 100% our won.

I'd say it all looks beautiful and the best part is functional for you and the rest of the family. I love the dark cabinets and the granite tops. I never knew there were any such thing as a touchless faucet. What a great idea. I'm happy for you.
