Have you ever been surprised by company and you want to whip up something really fast. Old English Cheese Dip is quick, easy, and everyone will be asking for the recipe! Make double if you have a group because it will not last long.
Our family friend brought this to a party at my home and it was delicious. Every year, we get together for the kids' birthdays and everyone brings a dish of some kind. She chose to bring an appetizer and it was delicious. I asked her how to make this dip and I couldn't believe how easy it was.
First, you will probably need to stock up on the Old English Cheese. Old English Cheese is not something I would have stockpiled at home, but I do now! You can usually locate this cheese in the grocery store by the Velveeta cheese.
Second, all you do is mix everything together. Yes, there are a couple steps if you want to get technical but you could throw it all in at the same time and still be ok. This dip is perfect served with pretzels and bagels. Feel free to add whatever you want to the mix.
Old English Cheese Dip
- 1 5oz Old English Cheese Jar
- 1 Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- Let cream cheese soften to room temperature.
- In a medium size bowl blend the Old English Cream Cheese and the Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Mix until well blended.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt evenly across the top.
- Blend in Garlic Salt.
- You can serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Serve with Pretzels or bagels.
This is a cheese dip that you will be taking everywhere! This Old English Cheese Dip is perfect for holidays, parties, cookouts, showers, and just about any event you can think of.
