This scrumptious Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Chicken Freezer Meal is a great family dinner meal! I prepared this meal in an afternoon when making 15 crockpot freezer meals for my family’s dinners. With the start of the school year activities in full swing and a season of football, I wanted to make a bunch of prep ahead meals that I could make for my family on busy week nights. It is important that we aren’t temped to eat out and by preparing and cooking freezer meals I am able to save my family a lot of money.
This is a true dump and go Crockpot recipe. Simply place all ingredients in a labeled and dated gallon freezer ziploc bag and mix well. Lay flat in freezer; when ready to cook place in fridge to thaw overnight. Place the contents of the bag in a 5 QT crockpot. Place lid on and cook on low 8 hours. It is that simple! You can’t get easier than this recipe.
So I got busy creating recipes so I could take an afternoon and have meals ready to go for my family. This yummy crockpot recipe has been one of Luke’s favorite dinners so far out of all the slow cooker meals. I served the delicious Chicken over hot buttered noodles with roasted asparagus. I think it would be yummy over rice too.

Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Chicken Freezer Meal
- 2 10 oz cans “cream of” soups (I used celery and potato)
- 2 packets ranch dressing mix
- 6-8 chicken breasts fresh or frozen
- Place all ingredients in a labeled and dated freezer ziploc bag and mix well.
- Lay flat in freezer; when ready to cook place in fridge to thaw overnight.
- Place the contents of the bag in a 5 QT crockpot.
- Place lid on and cook on low 8 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
