This scrumptious Slow Cooker Pepper Steak is a great family dinner soup that is also a freezer meal! I prepared this meal in an afternoon when doing twenty crockpot freezer meals for my family’s dinners. With end of the school year activities in full swing and summer break coming, I wanted to make a bunch of prep ahead meals that I could make for my family. So I got busy finding and creating recipes so I could take an afternoon and have meals ready to go for my family. This crockpot recipe was one of the easiest meals out of all the slow cooker meals. I served the delicious, flavorful steak over hot, buttered rice. You could serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes and a nice side salad too. This recipe is naturally gluten free when you use gluten free soy sauce.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak
- 2 lb beef round steak sliced against the grain
- 1 cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 green pepper sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (use gluten free if making gluten free)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 1 clove minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
Label gallon size freezer bag with name of recipe, date and instructions.
Place all ingredients in bag and seal.
Place in freezer.
To Cook: Thaw overnight in fridge.
Dump bag in slow cooker.
Place lid on.
Cook on low 5-6 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
