T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs Dining Review

T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs is an amazing dining experience the whole family will love! My children were always dinosaur lovers and this was a megalosaurus-sized experience!  The restaurant has incredible views throughout the whole restaurant making lunch or dinner an adventure. You can sit in themed ice caverns to a fern forest buzzing with giant wasps!  The best way to describe it is with T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs own words "Guests will witness rumbling meteor showers, fiery "explosions," squawking pterosaurs, wooly mammoths, a massive undulating octopus and life-sized animatronic dinosaurs—including a 15-foot-tall T. Rex!"

Table Service (sit down) for dining are unique at T-REX in that guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations (also known as ADR) for this character experience, which limits your wait time.  Reservations book fast so you need to make sure get your reservations right away!  Disney lets you make dining reservations 180 days before you arrive!

T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs Dining Review

My husband and I tried a couple different food options, so we could share and experience the menu. Out of everything ordered I think my favorite was dessert. Who wouldn't love an explosive volcano mound of chocolate!  It was big enough for all of us! If you choose Dinosaur Cafe you have to get the Chocolate Extinction!  It is simply delicious.

The kids really enjoyed it, but my youngest who was 6 years old at the time, was super excited when the restaurant would come alive with all the dinosaurs.  If you have little ones it could be a little scary.  Also, beware if you have young children who do not like loud noises.  My son wore block out muffs to block some of the noise out and was still able to enjoy everything!

Disclosure: I was not compensated in any form for this review. My family personally paid for this trip, dining and all expenses. This dining review is my personal opinion.
