We love traveling, and we have found that there are many hotel chains that aren't as nice for our family as others. So, I wanted to share our Top 10 Hotel Chains for Families with you. This list includes our favorites for both quality and pricing. Some of these hotel chains will be more expensive, but I have also included a few that are very reasonable for your needs when available.

No matter which chain you choose to book your rooms at in the future, make sure you read reviews before booking. Every location is vastly different and may not meet your unique needs.

Embassy Suites: This group of hotels is a favorite due to the amenities. They are pricier than most and aren't as common, but they are ideal for families that prefer a suite with doors for privacy. The included full breakfast is a huge bonus that typically is well worth the additional cost each night. Plus, their beds are absolutely perfect. Just enough softness without being too soft and their bedding is the fluffy kind you never want to leave!

Extended Stay America: While the Extended Stay America doesn't come with as many amenities as other hotel chains, they are a great place to stay if you have a longer vacation planned. The full kitchens and suites offer more space and comfort away from home. For a week or longer, they are a great way to save on the cost of food. There are always on-site laundry facilities, and many have a grab and go breakfast option with fruit, granola bars, and coffee in the mornings.

Hampton Inn & Suites: When it comes to quality across the board, I have never stayed in a bad Hampton Inn & Suites. One appeal for kids is the freshly baked cookie at check-in. Additionally, the variety of suite types accommodate various family sizes and provides a lot of extra comfort and quality.

W Hotels: This chain of hotels is usually only in larger metropolitan areas, but it is definitely a hotel you think of when luxury comes to mind. While they are not as kid-friendly as some of our other options, they often have on-site restaurants and exceptionally large rooms. This can make your stay much easier when kids are along for the trip.

Staybridge Inn & Suites: The larger suites and small kitchenette feature in these rooms make them ideal for families traveling and wanting to save expenses on food. A full-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and sometimes cooktop makes these rooms easy for you to cook meals in for your family. They usually also offer a continental breakfast that adds to the overall comfort of the experience.

Hyatt Place: Since this a newer chain, most locations are still sparkling and updated. They have a largely extended breakfast buffet included with the cost of your room and feature multiple suite options including ones with bunk beds that safe space while also giving you and your kids privacy.

Residence Inn: If you are looking for a budget-friendly option, this is a great pick. The suites are often larger than other hotels, and they have great suite options. Whether you need just one bed or need a suite for 8 people, they offer multiple options. We love their comfort and pricing.

Homewood Suites: This makes this list because they are much larger rooms that are ideal for big families. It is rumored a basic room can sleep up to 8 people, but I haven't tested that theory. Typically they are very clean and well-staffed, so never a bad idea.

Loews Hotels and Resorts: While not as many locations across the nation, when you see the Loews name you know you will have luxury and affordability in one. These hotels are unique and offer tons of local flare and character.

Omni Hotels: These are often located in older or more historic buildings that have been renovated. They feature beautiful rooms, unique local features, and a pool with often kids play areas for families.

These hotel chains are just what you need to get started planning your next family vacation!
