Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops Freezer Meal is the perfect comfort meal on a cool night!

This Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops Freezer Meal is a great way to cook pork! If you are like me, you love the convenience of using your slow cooker!  Freezer meals are my favorite because you can just pull them out of the freezer, put them in the Slow Cooker and have a meal when dinner rolls around. Check out all the freezer meals in the article 20 Healthy Freezer Meals For Your Slow Cooker in 3 Hours!

I served the delicious Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops with homemade mashed potatoes, buttered corn and used the gravy from the crockpot to pour over them. I used my 5 QT slow cooker to make these pork chops, you may need a 6 QT if you are making more pork chops.

Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops is so good and it's an easy freeze slow cooker meal that everyone in your family will love.  My whole family loved these delicious pork chops! The kids are big on side dishes.  Anything I can serve mashed potatoes and corn with is a win! Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops Freezer Meal is also the perfect comfort meal on a cool night!

We have a reader request with how to adapt this into a gluten free recipe. You can use this recipe for Dry Onion Soup Mix (use 2 TBSP) instead of 1 packet. For the Pork Gravy Mix use 1 packet Gluten Free Brown Gravy Mix, use gluten free chicken granules and 1 can of gluten free cream of chicken soup (Pacific Brand or Great Value Brand). Hope this helps!

Like bullion cubes but crushed up. They sell it in a jar that you measure out.

Does it matter what type of pork chops you use? Center-cut, boneless vs bone-in, etc?

Do you freeze the cup of water too? Or do you just add that when placing the rest of the ingredients in the crock pot? Thanks!

I just add that in when I add it to the crock pot. Great question!

Can you made veggies to the pot? If so would I cook them for same time?

Yes, I would add them in closer to being done so they don't get mushy.

Do I brown the pork chops first before putting in crockpot?

ALTHOUGH TGE PORK CHOOS WERE PERFECT, Fork tender & not dry, the sauce was much too salty.. If I were to make this again would likely omit, find a low salt option or use less onion soup mix.

You could always make your own onion soup mix and omit the salt in the recipe and even use celery seed instead of celery salt.
