Check out these ways to provide self care. Self care is a huge buzz word right now. But with good reason. It is important for you to take care of yourself. You can not pour from an empty cup. You must continually fill your own cup. We shared 7 reasons moms need self care with you.

The definition of self care is the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. Also the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health.

As women in particular we are so busy. I think we are too busy. As I shared before, it is ok to say no, thank you. If there is nothing I have learned during this time at home it is that we must be still. We need to clear our calendars. We need to start saying no. We need to not feel guilty for saying no. We are not super women and we can not do everything.

    Self-Care Suggestions:

    • Face Mask
    • Manicure
    • Pedicure
    • Massage
    • Walk
    • Read a Book
    • Watch a Comedy Show
    • Call a friend
    • FaceTime
    • Zoom
    • Bake
    • Laugh
    • Buy yourself flowers
    • Go to lunch with friend
    • Go on a girls trip
    • Go shopping
    • Meditation
    • Yoga
    • Exercise

During hard days we have to take time to be still. We need to do kind things for others but we also need to be kind to ourselves. It is OK to sit and be still. It is OK to pamper ourselves. We don't have to wait for someone else to do that for us. It is good for ourselves to be kind to ourselves and give ourselves a break.
