I THINK THIS SOUNDS INCREDIBLE EASY. CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE OVEN. MY SISTER DOES NOT LIKE PINEAPPLE. WOULD IT WORK IF I USED 1 CAN OF CHERRY & ALSO 1 CAN OF APPLE/CARAMEL PIE FILLING INSTEAD? WOULD I NEED TO DOUBLE THE BUTTER? IT SEEMS LIKE THE EASIEST THINGS SEEM TO GIVE ME THE WORST TROUBLES.. SORRY!!!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE GREAT RECIPES & YOUR TV SHOWS TOO... I LOVE YOUR FAMILY TOO, THEY ARE SO SPECIAL & VERY HARD WORKING. YOU DON'T SEE THAT VERY OFTEN...

I think you could easily change out the pineapple for the cherry and apple pie filling - YUM!

Love this recipe! I did however, cheat a little bit. 🙂 I topped the sugar free cherry pie filling with chopped walnuts and used a sugar free chocolate cake mix and then topped it again with sugar free chocolate chips. By no means is this a low calorie version, just less sugar. Ladies and Gents, you will not be disappointed.

This recipe sounds yummy! I may try it with French Vanilla cake mix. If subbing apple pie filling, I'll probably use a butter-pecan cake mix.

We used a 9 " pie pan. You could use a 8x8 or 9x9 cake pan.

I used french vanilla cake mix and blueberry, it was disgusting. Had weird aftertaste. I may try it again, but with another cake flavour!
